Seat Heater Integration Harness (2003–2007)- 100 Series Land Cruiser / Lexus LX470

When upgrading a late-model 100 Series Land Cruiser or Lexus LX470 (2003–2007) to scheel-mann Vario heated seats or Vario Klima heated/cooled seats, the factory Toyota seat and its associated heater wiring are removed along with the original seat frame.

This harness is designed to retain the factory Toyota seat heater switches located in the center console, allowing them to control the heating elements in your new scheel-mann seats exactly as intended.

What this harness does

This is a direct plug-in heater integration harness that connects:

The factory Toyota floor harness
To the heating elements in scheel-mann Vario or Vario Klima seats

No cutting, splicing, or modification of the factory wiring is required.

By using this harness, the OEM seat heater switches remain fully functional, preserving the factory look and user experience.

Important compatibility notes

This harness is specifically designed for:

2003–2007 Land Cruiser 100 Series
2003–2007 Lexus LX470
Vehicles equipped with the gray 5-pin seat belt buckle connector under the factory seat

Earlier 100 Series vehicles (1998–2002) use a different wiring architecture and are not compatible with this harness.

If you are unsure which connector your vehicle has, remove the driver seat and visually confirm the presence of the 5-pin connector before ordering.

Heating control architecture (important)

Unlike Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, and other Toyota platforms, the 100 Series does not use a thermistor-based heater control system.

100 Series vehicles use a series / parallel heater control architecture
These systems do not rely on voltage modulation via a thermistor
As a result, no scheel-mann thermistor is used or required for heater operation in the 100 Series

This is why this harness directly interfaces with the factory heater circuit rather than introducing a thermistor into the system.

Klima seat considerations

Because this harness retains the factory Toyota heater switch circuit:

The scheel-mann supplied heater harness is not used
If installing Klima seats, the cooling system remains independent and is operated using the scheel-mann supplied round switches

Heating and cooling functions remain electrically separate, as designed.
