A solid electrical foundation for installing scheel-mann seats in the 80 Series Land Cruiser that formerly had powered seats found in 94-97 Land Cruisers and LX450s. This kit provides a safe, ignition switched power source for both front seats. This harness only requires crimping the ground and power leads from the scheel-mann harness.
This harness kit covers both driver and passenger seats. Although some installations are for driver side only, this harness will guarantee simple connection when/if the passenger side is upgraded as well.
Technical Integration Notes
Power Delivery The T-Bridge utilizes the HEATER Relay circuit. This ensures the scheel-mann heating elements and fans only receive power when the vehicle is in the ON or START position. This hardware level safety prevents battery drain even if the seat switches are left active.
Installation
The scheel-mann wiring harness requires only three steps once this kit is in place:
Plug the scheel-mann connectors into the seat heater and vent ports.
Mount the scheel-mann round switches in your preferred location.
Crimp the scheel-mann power and ground leads into the butt-connected leads on the T-Bridge.
