Passenger-side seat mounting system for upgrading your Toyota FJ Cruiser with scheel-mann KLIMA Vario F or KLIMA Vario F XXL seats.

This system is specifically engineered for KLIMA seats and includes an integrated storage box and provisions for cube-style accessory switches.

Important notes

KLIMA seats only. This mounting system is designed exclusively for scheel-mann KLIMA seats with heating and cooling.
Accessory switches and OEM seat rails are not included.
Seat height: With a scheel-mann seat installed, the final seated height is positioned just under the midpoint of the OEM seat height adjustment range.
Accessory switch openings:
The cube-style openings are sized for Toyota 22.2 mm accessory switches. These openings are not intended for seat heating or seat cooling controls, which should be positioned closer to the occupant for safe and ergonomic operation.

Vehicle-specific design

This is a vehicle-specific, custom-fit mounting system engineered exclusively for the Toyota FJ Cruiser. It is not a universal, one-size-fits-all bracket.

The design addresses common aftermarket seat issues, including excessive seat height and improper integration with factory sensing systems.

SRS and airbag compatibility

The mounting system is engineered to prevent common SRS warning light issues associated with aftermarket seat swaps while maintaining proper integration with Toyota’s passenger-side sensing architecture.

Retains Toyota’s passenger-side sensing functions where applicable so SRS systems operate as originally designed by Toyota.
Includes a custom airbag proxy to remedy the in-seat airbag circuit that is removed when installing any aftermarket seat.

Seat belt mounting

The system retains the OEM FJ Cruiser passenger-side seat belt mounting location without relying on a compromised or relocated attachment point.

Seat heating and cooling integration

Scheel-mann KLIMA seats include integrated seat heating and cooling with aftermarket wiring and switches. Since the FJ Cruiser was not equipped with factory heated seats, this kit includes a plug-and-play heater extension harness to support clean routing and integration of the scheel-mann wiring.
