Driver-side seat mounting system for upgrading your Toyota FJ Cruiser with scheel-mann KLIMA Vario F or Vario F XXL seats. This system is specifically designed for KLIMA seats and includes an integrated storage box and two cube-style accessory switch openings.

Important notes

The cube-style switch openings are sized for Toyota 22.2 mm accessory switches. These openings are not intended for seat heater or seat cooling controls, which should be positioned closer to the driver for safe operation.

The Tolerance Stack mounting system positions the scheel-mann seat at just under the midpoint of the factory seat height adjustment range, closely matching the OEM driving position.

Vehicle-specific design

This is the only vehicle-specific mounting system designed to install scheel-mann KLIMA seats into the Toyota FJ Cruiser while preventing airbag warning lights. This is not a universal or one-size-fits-all bracket.

By retaining Toyota’s factory sensors, all original SRS airbag functions continue to operate as designed, with the exception of the in-seat airbag removed when installing any aftermarket seat. That circuit is properly addressed using a vehicle-specific airbag proxy, included with the kit.

Structurally, the factory seat belt mounting location is retained, avoiding the need for secondary or compromised mounting solutions.

Seat heating and cooling integration

scheel-mann KLIMA seats include seat heating and cooling along with aftermarket wiring and switches. Since the FJ Cruiser was not offered with factory seat heaters, this kit includes a heater extension harness for use with the scheel-mann supplied wiring.

Cooling controls remain independent and are operated using the scheel-mann supplied switches.
