This package provides everything required to install a scheel-mann Vario seat into the passenger position of the FJ Cruiser while retaining Toyota’s factory safety systems and eliminating airbag warning lights.

Vehicle-specific mounting solution
This package includes a vehicle-specific Tolerance Stack passenger-side mounting system engineered exclusively for the FJ Cruiser. This is not a universal bracket.
The mounting system offers two seating positions:
A standard position for average-height occupants
A tall position for additional legroom
 
Seat height is positioned at just under the midpoint of the factory seat height adjustment range, closely matching the OEM passenger seating position.
 
Safety system integration
By retaining Toyota’s factory load sensors, all original SRS airbag functions continue to operate as designed, with the exception of the in-seat airbag removed when installing any aftermarket seat.
 
That circuit is properly addressed using a vehicle-specific airbag proxy, included as part of the package.
 
Structurally, the factory seat belt mounting location is retained, avoiding the use of secondary or compromised mounting points.
 
Seat heating integration
scheel-mann Vario seats include integrated seat heating. Since the FJ Cruiser was not offered with factory passenger seat heaters, this package includes the necessary heater harness extension for use with the scheel-mann supplied wiring.
