Upgrade your 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner with a complete, vehicle-specific seat and mounting solution that finally does things the right way.
 
This package includes both a premium scheel-mann orthopedic driver’s seat and the Tolerance Stack driver-side mounting system, engineered together to integrate cleanly with the 5th Gen 4Runner platform while preventing the common electrical issues that plague aftermarket seat swaps.
 
This is the only solution currently available that preserves proper vehicle electronics, avoids dash warning lights, and integrates factory seat heating controls when equipped.
 
What Makes This System Different
Complete, error-free integration
This system is engineered specifically for the 5th Gen 4Runner. It maintains correct communication with Toyota’s safety and body control systems to prevent SRS, airbag, and diagnostic fault lights commonly triggered by aftermarket seats.
 
Retains powered fore-aft seat movement
The factory driver-side fore-aft motor and rail assembly is reused, allowing you to keep powered seat adjustment while upgrading to a scheel-mann seat. This requires partial disassembly of the OEM seat during installation.
 
Factory seat heating integration
If your 4Runner is equipped with factory heated seats, this kit includes the required harness to allow your original dashboard heat buttons to control the heating function of scheel-mann heated or Klima seats without triggering errors.
 
Klima compatible
Compatible with scheel-mann heated and heated & cooled (Klima) Vario F and Vario F XXL seats. Cooling functions are controlled separately using the scheel-mann supplied controls. A factory-style integrated cooling solution is in development.
 
Safety systems preserved
Factory seat belt sensors are retained and mounted correctly using a dedicated seat belt bracket and hardware. All other vehicle safety systems remain functional as designed.

Important Notes Before Ordering 
This package is driver side only. Passenger-side solutions are in development.
This system requires reuse of your OEM powered fore-aft rail assembly. A fully manual seat configuration is not supported.
Vehicles equipped with seat position memory must be identified at the time of ordering so the correct connector can be supplied.

scheel-mann seats included in this package are stocked in specific configurations only. Stitching patterns and certain cosmetic options are not selectable unless the seat is ordered as a custom build from Germany.

Harness Core Charge
A $100 refundable core charge applies to this package.
 
One connector from your original OEM seat heater harness must be returned to Tolerance Stack, as this connector is no longer available new. A prepaid return envelope is included. The core charge is refunded once the harness is received.
