Upgrade your 5th Generation Toyota 4Runner driver seat to the comfort, support, and ergonomics of a premium scheel-mann Vario F or Vario F XXL seat (Heated or Heated & Cooled KLIMA) using the only mounting system engineered specifically to integrate with the 5th Gen 4Runner’s powered seat and electronic safety systems without triggering warning lights or computer faults.

This is not a universal bracket. It is a vehicle-specific, fully integrated mounting and electronics solution engineered for the 2010+ Toyota 4Runner platform.

Seat Movement

This system reuses the OEM powered fore-aft motor and rail assembly
A 100% manual seat configuration is not possible on this platform
Powered adjustment is retained after installation

Important System Integration Notes

This kit is currently Driver’s Side only. Passenger side is in development.
Installation requires removal and partial disassembly of the OEM driver seat to extract the factory powered rail and motor assembly.
Factory seat-belt sensor functionality is retained.
All original SRS airbag systems remain operational when installed per the instructions.
In-seat airbag removal (required for any aftermarket seat) is properly compensated using a vehicle-specific airbag proxy included with the kit.
No dash lights or diagnostic errors when installed correctly.

Factory Seat Heating Integration

This system uniquely allows your scheel-mann heated or KLIMA seat to integrate directly with the factory Toyota seat-heater controls when the vehicle is equipped with factory heated seats.

If your 4Runner has factory heated seats, the included harness allows your OEM dashboard heater buttons to control the scheel-mann seat heating.
If your 4Runner does not have factory heated seats, the scheel-mann aftermarket heater controls are used.

This integration is exclusive to this system.

KLIMA Cooling Control

For scheel-mann KLIMA (heated & cooled) seats:

The cooling function is controlled independently from the factory heating system.
Cooling is typically managed using the round control switches supplied with the scheel-mann KLIMA seat, commonly mounted in the center console.
Tolerance Stack is actively developing a future factory-style cooling control solution.

Seat Position Memory

This system assumes your 5th Gen 4Runner does NOT have driver seat position memory.
If your vehicle does have seat memory, you must notify us at the time of ordering so we can configure the correct wiring connector to support it.
Seat memory is supported on a case-by-case basis only.

Core Charge Program (OEM Heater Harness)

If your 4Runner is equipped with factory seat heaters:

Your original OEM seat-heater harness contains a connector that is no longer available.
We supply a donor connector with your order.
A $100 core charge is applied at checkout.
A pre-labeled padded return envelope is included with your shipment.
Once your unused OEM heater harness is returned, the $100 core charge is refunded immediately.

This program allows us to continue supporting factory-heater integration long-term.
