Note
This mount is now a special order item as the Klima mounts are by far more common sellers and can be used for heat-only and Klima installations now. The only reason for requiring this version is because there is hardware or electronics installed under the seat that can not be relocated where the Klima storage box would interfere. Average production time is 3-4 weeks.

This passenger-side seat mounting system allows you to upgrade your Toyota 4th Generation 4Runner with scheel-mann Vario F or Vario F XXL seats. The system provides two seat-height options and maintains the vehicle’s SRS safety logic when installed according to the instructions.

This is a vehicle-specific, custom-fit bracket system engineered specifically for the 2003–2009 4Runner platform. It is not a universal mount.

Important Notes

Not KLIMA compatible
This mounting system supports scheel-mann Vario F and Vario F XXL seats only (heated versions without cooling).

OEM Pressure Pad Reuse Required
This upgrade requires reusing your factory passenger-side foam-mounted pressure pad (occupant classification sensor).

You must remove the pressure pad from your OEM passenger seat
Send it to Tolerance Stack for installation into your scheel-mann seat before shipment
This ensures proper OCS function and prevents SRS errors

This requirement is specific to the 4th Gen 4Runner passenger seat.

Seat Height Options
The mounting system provides two selectable seat positions:

Standard: Best for average-height occupants
Tall: Additional legroom and improved ergonomics for taller occupants

This design also corrects the common issue of aftermarket seats sitting too high in 4th Gen 4Runners.

Safety Systems & Airbag Integration

This system is engineered to maintain the 4th Gen 4Runner’s safety functions:

OEM seat-belt mounting location preserved
Toyota occupant classification sensor (pressure pad) remains in use
All factory SRS airbag functions remain active
Removal of the OEM in-seat airbag is compensated using the included vehicle-specific airbag proxy
Proper installation prevents any SRS or airbag warning lights
