The scheel-mann Vario F seats feature a unique design where the seat bottom can be lifted up, originally intended in vehicles like the Defender to provide access to components like the battery located underneath. Tolerance Stack has adapted this concept, designing their seat brackets and compatible seat pans to take full advantage of this inherent space, creating valuable storage bins beneath both the driver and passenger seats.

Tolerance Stack offers tailored storage solutions depending on the seat type:

• Non-Klima Compatible Seats: For passenger-side seats without the Klima (heating/cooling) feature, a specifically designed storage box fits snugly between the relocated load cells. This box is positioned onto crossbars just below the seat mount, keeping it discreet and out of casual sight. A crucial aspect of this design is that it prevents the weight of stored items from being added to the SRS (airbag system) weight calculations, ensuring safety is not compromised. When it comes to storage, things work a little differently depending on whether you have the heat-only or Klima seats. With the heat-only pans, storage is an available option for both the driver and passenger. The driver's side storage mounts directly to the pan. On the passenger side heat-only pan, though, the storage attaches separately to the cross-members. This setup is designed so the weight in the passenger storage doesn't count towards the OCS airbag calculations.

• Klima Compatible Seats: Now, if you choose the full Klima pans, storage is built right into the pan on both sides. For the driver's side Klima storage, the weight you put in doesn't affect the OCS at all, letting you maximize that space. But keep in mind, on the passenger side Klima pan, we've limited the size of the built-in storage box. We did this to help control the amount of weight that gets added here, since the weight in the passenger side Klima storage does still contribute to the sensor's overall weight reading for the OCS.

They are perfect for keeping frequently needed items securely stored and easily accessible, such as phones, laptops, squirt guns, or even freeing up space in your glove compartment by relocating bulky items like the owner's manual.

Understanding the importance of connectivity, Tolerance Stack has incorporated thoughtful features into these storage areas. All storage boxes (both Klima and non-Klima compatible) come with pre-cut features for adding a USB or cigarette lighter power outlet, allowing you to power or charge devices within the secure compartment. A pass-through plug is also included if you simply need to route a USB wire through.

For Klima pans, there are additional cut-outs for accessory switches or extra pass-thrus, provided with 3D printed plugs if not immediately utilized, offering flexibility for future modifications.
