Confirmed for JDM-market Toyota 100 Series Land Cruisers only. Does not work on US-spec 100 Series as the factory harness and connectors differ. May be compatible with other RHD export-market trucks (Gulf States, Australia), but this has not been verified on those. Compatibility with any market of Lexus LX470 is unknown. Confirm physically on your truck before ordering.
Overview:
Restores full factory Hi/Off/Lo heater switch function when installing scheel-mann Vario F seats in a JDM 100 Series Land Cruiser. The factory Toyota heater pad uses two internal resistance taps to create Hi and Lo; scheel-mann's heating elements are plain two-wire resistive pads with no internal tap, so wiring the factory switch straight to them collapses both settings into one. This harness restores genuine two-speed operation using the vehicle's own factory switch, with no relay and no cutting into the factory harness.
Plugs directly into the factory 3-pin heater connector on the seat. No modification to the OEM wiring. Sold individually; order one per seat being converted.
