Note
This mount is now a special order item as the Klima mounts are by far more common sellers and can be used for heat-only and Klima installations now. The only reason for requiring this version is because there is hardware or electronics installed under the seat that can not be relocated where the Klima storage box would interfere. Average production time is 3-4 weeks.

Overview

Passenger-side seat mounting system for upgrading your Toyota FJ Cruiser to a scheel-mann Vario F or Vario F XXL seat.

Important notes

Non-Klima seats only. Klima seats require different integration and are not supported by this kit.
Seat height: With a scheel-mann seat installed, the final seated height lands just under the midpoint of the OEM height adjustment range.
Two mounting positions: The bracket provides two seat-position options, a standard position for average-height occupants and a tall position for drivers who need additional legroom.

Vehicle-specific design

This is a vehicle-specific, custom-fit mounting system designed for the Toyota FJ Cruiser. It is not a universal bracket.

SRS and airbag compatibility

The system is engineered to prevent common SRS warning light issues associated with aftermarket seat swaps by retaining Toyota’s passenger-side sensing architecture where applicable and providing a solution for the removed in-seat airbag circuit.

Retains key Toyota passenger-side sensing functions as designed by Toyota.
Includes an airbag proxy to resolve the in-seat airbag circuit that is removed when installing any aftermarket seat.

Seat belt mounting

The mounting system is designed to retain the OEM passenger-side seat belt mounting location without relying on an improvised replacement mounting point.

Seat heating support

scheel-mann seats can include seat heaters and separate switches depending on configuration. This kit includes a plug-and-play wiring harness extension to support clean routing and installation.
