Driver-side seat mounting system for upgrading your Toyota FJ Cruiser to a scheel-mann Vario F or Vario F XXL seat.
 
Important notes
Non-Klima seats only. Klima (heated and cooled) seats are not supported by this mounting system.
Seat height: With a scheel-mann seat installed, the final seated height is positioned just under the midpoint of the OEM seat height adjustment range.
Two mounting positions: The bracket provides two seat-position options, a standard position for average-height occupants and a tall position for drivers who need additional legroom.
 
Vehicle-specific design
This is a vehicle-specific, custom-fit mounting system engineered specifically for the Toyota FJ Cruiser. It is not a universal, one-size-fits-all bracket.
 
SRS and airbag compatibility
The system is engineered to prevent common SRS warning light issues associated with aftermarket seat swaps while maintaining proper integration with Toyota’s driver-side sensing systems.
Retains Toyota’s occupancy sensing where applicable so SRS functions operate as originally designed by Toyota.
Includes a custom airbag proxy to remedy the in-seat airbag circuit that is removed when installing any aftermarket seat.
 
Seat belt mounting
The mounting system retains the OEM FJ Cruiser driver-side seat belt mounting location without relying on a compromised or relocated attachment point.
 
Seat heating support
scheel-mann seats may include seat heaters depending on configuration. This kit includes a plug-and-play wiring harness extension to support clean routing and integration of seat heating components.
